Jennie Miller has developed a 'How to' model for working with couples - from assessment right through to endings.
She is keen to share this model to equip practitioners, TA therapists and counsellors with practical tools when working with couples. We have arranged this one off weekend workshop delivered by Jennie where she explains her model and its application.
Jennie defines the Couples covered in her course as any two people in relationship including married couples or partners, parent and child, sibilings etc. and so is broader than conventional couples courses.
The workshop takes place over 2 days and content includes assessment and contracts; using the Parent, Adult, Child model, the effect on the practitioner, using the Drama Triangle, managing boundaries and endings and much more.
The workshop is open to counsellors, psychotherapists and practitioners both experienced and those just starting out in couples work. The workshop focuses on using Transactional Analysis within the couples setting but prior knowledge of TA is not a requirement and the model is very practical and applied.
