Diploma in Clinical Supervision

A dynamic supervision course for practitioners looking to develop, deepen and broaden their supervision practice. With places on the course limited to a small group, our two trainers co-training together, ensure attendees get the very best theoretical and experiential training in supervision.

The Diploma in Supervision is a 10 day programme aligned with BACP and UKCP standards for supervision training. With a tried and tested blend of academic theory and practical experience, the course will give you the skills and knowledge you need to become a clinical supervisor.

Course information

The course is made up of 4 modules comprising 2 long weekends (Fri – Sun) and 2 short weekends (Sat – Sun). As it takes place online – there is no requirement to travel.

We are proud of the fact that the Diploma in Supervision is unique in having two trainers working together throughout.  Bev and Ronen use their extensive experience to deliver an insightful and dynamic course.

Two Trainers’ Expertise

Co-teaching is a central element to the course. The learning encounter we offer emphasises mutual responsiveness and transformation. We are social beings and as such, we fundamentally need an-other in order to grow and learn. In these relational encounters, we experience the disturbance of the other’s difference, which presents challenge and great potential for expansion and vitality.

Course Structure

Our teaching style combines short didactic pieces of theory along with experiential exercises to stimulate the unconscious and creative process using symbolism and imagery. We also offer space for small group and large group discussion and process and plenty of observed skills practice with constructive feedback

The training can be used towards meeting the criteria for accreditation in the UK. E.g. BACP accredited Supervisor, or PTSTA which is recognised by UKCP &UKATA, and internationally by EATA and ITAA.
