Starting your own private practice is a big step even if it is just for a couple of sessions of clients a week.
The First Steps to Successful Private Practice is a 1 day workshop looking at the realities of private practice (the good and potential pitfalls). The key aspects covered in this workshop are divided into two broad areas; Setting the Therapeutic Stage and Marketing Your Practice.
We will be exploring the following:

- What needs to be in place before you can begin seeing clients
- The initial sessions
- How to be safe
- How to be successful
Marketing Your Practice
- How do people find out about you?
- What do you want to tell them?
- How can you help the decision-making process?
This workshop is for counsellors and therapists who are considering setting up in private practice. It is a very practical session helping you to develop a concrete action plan for you to use in setting up your practice.
