The course is over 10 days from October to March and is split into 2 modules of 5 days each. Module 1 covers Anxiety and Module 2 Trauma, Depression and Recent Developments.

Intermediate Certificate details
The 10 day Intermediate Certificate course introduces disorder–specific models as the basis of understanding and treating problems. The main focus of the programme will be the importance of specificity in the treatment models. The course will include role play and practice to develop skills and confidence to treat patients.
What does the course cover?
The course is made up of 2 modules. Module 1 (5 days) covers anxiety and includes panic, health anxiety, social anxiety, and OCD.
Module 1 dates
- 25 October – Panic
- 26 October – Health Anxiety
- 8 November – Social Anxiety
- 9 November – OCD
- 2 November – Generalised Anxiety Disorder and Worry
Module 2 (5 days) covers PTSD, depression, eating disorders and recent developments.
Module 2 dates
- 23 November – PTSD
- 12 December – CBT and eating disorders
- 16 January – mindfulness and recent developments
- 7 March – Depression 1 – treatment
- 8 March – Depression 2 – risk and suicide
Each module can be booked separately or together to complete the full Certificate.
How much does the course cost?
The cost of individual modules is £500 with the total price reduced to £800 (saving of £200) if both modules are booked together.
Each day on the CBT course starts at 9.30am and ends at 4.30pm and includes a free lunch.
